A meeting of Big Sky Beekeepers was held at the Missoula Public Library on Wednesday evening, July 13,
2016. Cam Lay, Entomologist with the
Montana Department of Agriculture was our guest speaker. He gave an overview of beekeeping in
Montana (numbers, sites, etc.). He reviewed honeybee biology and common diseases, including recent research and
opinions on colony collapse, pesticides, etc.
We concluded with a question &
