March Meeting

A meeting of Big Sky Beekeepers was held on Thursday, March 10 in the conference room at  Westside Lanes.  Sean Kochel gave us an overview of his development as a beekeeper and his perspective on the current challenges facing honeybees and beekeepers.  He then answered a variety of questions from the audience.  Sean is an experienced beekeeper, having been a commercial beekeeper for seven years and more recently, a hobby beekeeper.  Many of our members have benefitted from his beekeeping classes at the Missoula Lifelong Learning Center.  He has also made beekeeping presentations to school children across Montana.  Sean is a man of many talents.  Check out the cool guitars he makes:  www.kochelguitars.com
